The Old Town Hall from the 1930s to 1950s, that was located just off May Street, has been donated to Historic Hayesville Inc. for preservation.
The building is only 15 ft. wide by 24 ft. in depth but is worth restoration by Small Town Main Street/HHI volunteers as a small part of downtown Hayesville history.
HHI has moved the building to the new location below the Old Jail Museum provided by Clay County Historical & Arts Council. It rests next to the farm equipment display and below the Cherokee Homestead.
