is the
Songwriter's Circle Concert
held in the Historic Courthouse/Beal Center on the Square.
On Saturday, November 30, the popular series returns to the Beal Center for a night of songs and stories taking advantage of the acoustics of the historic courthouse. A trio of local favorites will take the stage to share new original songs in a Nashville round-like setting. Rob Tiger, Wyatt Espalin and Austin Coleman have three distinct songwriting styles. Rob Tiger, a writer whose penchant for rich details in storytelling and character development, is on full display on his newest collection of songs, “Fire and Rain and Sacrament”. Wyatt Espalin’s emotional songs are filled with empathy that highlights his therapeutic work writing songs with veterans and prison inmates. And Austin Coleman, a Hayesville, NC native has carved out a niche for his authentic Americana-style that reflects his songwriting heroes, Jason Isbell and Ryan Adams. The three come together for an entertaining night of songs and stories and collaboration. The concert will also feature amazing harmony singer and claw-hammer banjoist, Erin Worley of The Riverstones, from Bryson City, NC.
